Effective Altruism Lagos is a local chapter of the effective altruism movement in Nigeria. Our goal is to focus on the most pressing issues in Nigeria such as poverty, economic growth, increased productivity, and improving institutional decision making through liberal/secular norms like the rule of law, the scientific method, and philosophy.
To achieve our goal, we aim to focus on hosting seminars with issue-focused experts and sponsor research to help us discover how to do the most good in our community and beyond.
